René Saul is CEO and co-founder of Kapital Bank, a bank that uses data and artificial intelligence to offer SMEs new opportunities to access and manage capital through technological tools, typically available only to large companies.
With more than a decade of experience in the financial sector, René co-founded NomiFin and FinAgro nine years ago, credit support institutions for producers and exporters in the agricultural sector, which later evolved to become Kapital. During COP 26, Kapital was recognized with the Decarbonization Consumer Tools Award, awarded by Green Cross UK, for its work in raising awareness among the population about the environmental impact of its actions. Recently, the company was named by CNBC as one of the 50 most disruptive companies globally, along with others such as OpenAI, Stripe and Canva. René Saul is a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana and the IE Business School of Spain in International Business.
