General Director of The Competitive Intelligence Unit (The CIU), specialized in market analysis and regulation of telecommunications and information and communications technologies.

Opinion leader in the media, with regular presence in radio, television and written press. He has written, co-written, collaborated, edited and prefaced more than 60 books on telecommunications, ICTs, creative economy and cultural industries.

Among his academic activities, he has been a Professor since 1997 in the Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, in the Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Coordinator of the Diploma in Telecommunications Market Analysis at ITAM. 

Former member of the Advisory Council of the Federal Telecommunications Commission (Cofetel) and of the Citizen Participation Council for the institutional strengthening of Radio Educación, a radio station of the Ministry of Public Education.
