Reforma Fiscal CFDI 4.0 / Mexico’s New Mandates CFDI 4.0
The Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT) maintains one of the world’s most technologically advanced VAT reporting schemas. They are set to progress even further with the rollout of CFDI 4.0, which will allow for the SAT to collect more thorough and accurate reports from taxpayers. CFDI 4.0 will be implemented on January 1, 2022, and run simultaneously with the current version, 3.3. CFDI 3.3 is on track to end on March 31, 2022, which will require updates for clients with products in Mexico beforehand to ensure accurate tax reporting.
